Loan Limits: 25 items can be checked out at one time. Up to 10 items can be requested/placed on hold, either in person, online, or by phone at 503-594-6323. Holds are kept on the shelf for up to 7 days. CCC students, staff and faculty have access to all CCC and Summit library materials, interlibrary loan services, and technology equipment.

Course Reserves: Course reserves apply to physical books only. Lending periods are often 3-5. For more information: https://libguides.clackamas.edu/about/coursereserves

Summit / Orbis Cascade / Consortial lending: Summit is the lending mechanism for our consortium (Orbis Cascade) - items available in Summit appear in the catalog, and once logged in students can "request Summit item." The item is then delivered to CCC Library and students are notified via email to pick it up. Summit is preferred over ILL.

Inter-Library Loan / ILL / ILLiad: To request items not available at CCC or through Summit, patrons can place an Interlibrary Loan request on our website: https://libguides.clackamas.edu/about/summit or contact ILL at 503-594-3491 or ill@clackamas.edu.

Fines/Fees: There are no late fees for items at CCC Library. However, there are lost fees. Late Notices will be sent to the patron's email address on the following schedule :

CCC Library material more than 3 weeks overdue will be declared "lost" and you will be charged the price of the item plus a $5 processing fee.

Summit Libraries material more than 3 weeks overdue will be declared "lost" and you will be charged $75.00 plus $15.00 service charge.

When responding to overdue notices via email, please do not reply to the original notice email. Send all inquiries to ill@clackamas.edu, or call the circulation desk at (503) 594-3491.

Billing policies vary for Course Reserve materials.

Renewals: CCC does not offer renewals online. To renew an item owned by CCC Library, patrons can bring it back to the library and renew it in person as long as there isn't a hold on the item. Summit items are not available for renewal.

Book returns: Books can be returned at the circulation desk in the Dye Learning Center, at the drop box outside of Dye, the drop box inside Dye, the Harmony East front desk, or at the drop box on the Harmony Campus.

Services at Harmony: The library is located at the Oregon City campus, but there are services available at Harmony including book delivery and pick-up, book return, and instruction. It takes 3 business days for materials to arrive at Harmony. https://libguides.clackamas.edu/harmony. There are no library services at the Wilsonville campus except instruction by request.

Library Cards:  For CCC staff and students, your CCC identification card is your library card. Obtain your free ID card in Roger Rook Hall. Residents of Clackamas County may obtain a borrower's card at the Library's Circulation Desk.

Community borrowers: Borrowing privileges are extended to non-student community members who reside in Clackamas county.

CCC registered alumni and community members have access to all CCC library materials, interlibrary loan services, and technology equipment.

Summit members (students, faculty, and staff from schools within the Orbis Cascade Alliance) have access to all CCC library materials.
