Do you have any Genealogical Resources?

Answer

The library has a number of resources on how to research Family or Local History.

  • The Springfield History Museum has a large collection of local archives and photographs that stretch back to the founding of the City itself.
  • The library also provides the MyHeritage Genealogical Database to search Census Records, Birth Certificate, and Death Notices.
  • Recent obituaries can also be searched online from the Register Guard's Website.
